Today is the May 22nd and as quite all of you know is the so-called:
“Bitcoin Pizza Day”.
Be easy, I’m not going to write about charts, value, Crypto Winter, but only about the facts behind this special day, for us.
Everything started with Laszlo Hanyecz (https://twitter.com/hanyeczlaszlo) who on May 18th poster a request to buy pizza with Bitcoin. The transaction had been reported as successfully accomplished after 4 days, it was the 22nd of May.
I declared something at the beginning of this post, but I wasn’t sincere because I’m going to tell you something about an index, the Pizza Index.
The price paid for a pizza it was 10,000.00 BTC and the Pizza Index (https://bitcoinpizzaindex.net) estimates that today the value of that pizza is
$ 79,566,078.00
Probably you are going to ask us: “Yeah, and so?” … So, we don’t know if you like BTC, ETH, LTC or any other alt-coin, but we would like to tell you that today is a great day to break the rules and cheat on your diet, we have the excusatory of “Bitcoin Pizza Day”.
