In this guide you will find everything you need to know to start playing right away!
Crypto Heroes is a game based on Noku’s NFT Gaming protocol. The entire platform runs on the blockchain Nokuchain, specially developed for gaming activities that require extreme speed and transaction costs at virtually ZERO.
To play at Crypto Heroes you will need to collect NFT (the Crypto Heroes) and line them up against your opponents, in every MATCH.
Let’s start: how to register and take the first steps.
First open an account on Noku, at this address: https://accounts.noku.io/app/
Once registered, you will receive 20 NFT for free in your wallet by default, which the platform opens automatically (it’s the first wallet at the top on a blue background):
by clicking inside the wallet, you will see your assets and your NFT:
You can add or collect NFT to play at Crypto Heroes simply by buying NFT packs from the store, or you can try to win new ones by playing MATCH.
All purchases on the platform are paid in NOKU (the native coin of the blockchain Nokuchain), to buy them click on the top menu BUY NOKU (you can buy fiat or crypto currency).
How to import NFT and participate in Matches
At this point, to play, you will have to import your NFT on the gaming platform, so the smart contract of the blockchain takes charge of your NFT and allows you to deploy them in the MATCH (During the game your NFTs are locked in the wallet until you do the opposite action or export the NFTs from the game).
To import the NFT simply click “Import Cards” in the Menu (top) of Crypto Heroes:
select the cards/NFT to import and click IMPORT at the bottom right:
At this point, from the main board of CryptoHeroes you can choose to play one of the many tournaments in progress by placing your team in one of the matches (each tournament has more matches, each match gives a score that we will see later).
This is the main board where you can see the matches in progress (to which you can subscribe), past (with scores awarded) and future:
Click on one of the “Ongoing Matches” in progress, you will see a ranking with the cards/NFT face down, because the match has not yet started (the date and time of departure is visible in the bar at the top and center of the scoreboard).
each match consists of 3 stages:
1°- Join : a stage where you can freely deploy your NFT looking for the best combination, this stage usually opens two or three days before the start of the match.
2°- Change: just started the match, you are in the change phase in which you can make 3 changes of your team, one every 2 hours:
3°- End: in the end phase you can no longer make changes, the team deployed remains the same until the end of the race.
By clicking edit deck on the top right you can deploy your team in this section:
At this point, it is good to understand how the game is played and how to get a higher score than your opponents.

Game rules and scoring
Each tournament consists of several matches, each of which gives a certain score.
The winner of the tournament who has added up a higher score in all matches, the points awarded are as follows:
you can then play in teams, in this case you can accumulate more points because for each match the following points of the team are added to each participant:
- 1° team → +4 points
- 2° team → +2 points
- 3° team → +1 points

The scores of each MATCH are then awarded based on the individual’s ranking, plus the points awarded to their team.
In the case below, the user “pluto” came first taking 50 points to which were added 5 points of his WARRIORS team, that came second.
The ranking is based on the “Score” points generated by the cards/NFT deployed. So let’s see how a card gives a certain score.
The performance of a card is given by the performance of the relative cryptocurrency to which it is linked. The performances are those of the 24h taken directly from CoinMarketCap through an oracle.
In this case the ETH — Ethereum card is connected in real time to the crypto ETH, the multiplier is 1x (so it is exactly the performance of the 24h of ETH at that time). The card type is a C (Cryptocurrency) and the weight is 100, the total weight of the 12 cards deployed must not exceed 1,200 (the weight is highlighted in the bottom right of the card).
Then there are cards other than Crypto: the HEROES of the crypto industry such as Vitalik Buterin, for example.
In this case Vitalik always points to the crypto ETH (to its performance of 24h in real time) but having a 2x multiplier the result will be double, that is, if at that time ETH has a performance of 24h of 5%, the performance of the Vitalik card will give a 10%. Note that Vitalik’s weight is 120, so it is stronger, but weighs more.
Then there are J (Joker) cards, like this:
This card takes the result of all other cards (excluding J and A, which we will see later) and multiplies it by 25%, increasing the score of all cards by 25%. Its weight is 160. It is obvious that I will not be able to field all cards with a weight of more than 100, because the total weight of the 12 cards cannot exceed 1,200.
Therefore, if I deploy Laser Eyes and Vitalik Buterin, I will have to field other cards with a weight of less than 100 (yes, of course there are many with a weight of less than 100).
A very important card is the Short:
This card reverses all results (excluding jokers), it is therefore crucial in a market where almost all cryptos have red color performance. If deployed, it’s like going “short” in the market, like traders do.
Every 12 cards/nft to play is required to have two A cards (Antagonist). These cards (which are usually central banks, fiat coins or investors opposed to the crypto world) give negative scores on the performance of the cryptos to which they point, for example:
The Russian Ruble takes the performance of bitcoin and multiplies it by -1.4%, so if the performance of BTC is +10% this card will add to your total performance a nice -14%.
The sum of the performance of the cards gives the total score of the team, which in the leaderboard is defined as score. At the end of the match, whoever has the highest score will have won.
There are also more complex cards, like the T (Technologies) that are the average of the performance of more crypto, like the BLOCKCHAIN v2 card that is the average of three cryptos with a 3x multiplier that is: ((((Solana + Algorand + Elrond)/3)*3):
Based on these newly acquired notions, we can now go and select our team:
In this case the total score of my 12 cards is 63.31%, and that will be my ranking score.
In the high position of the board I always see my position, and to follow I see the players in the leaderboard in higher score order.
In the following case my team is at position 9:
At the end of each match the points (of the single position + those of the team) are awarded and the ranking is drawn up.
The tournament score is the sum of the various matches. In the tournament section (by clicking on the top tournaments menu) we can see the summary of points of individual players and teams:

Within the leagues (which we’ll cover in more detail in the next paragraph) prizes will not be awarded at the end of each tournament, but at the end of each match, with the chance to win up to 3 NFT basic packages every day!

Leagues and World Ranking: all you need to know!
With the latest update of the platform, we have the debut of a new game mode: leagues and World Ranking.
On the main board, you will find leagues, each associated with a time zone, for the Gold league, the reference one is Europe, while for the Silver and Bronze leagues, Asia, America and Europe.
In the leagues players are divided according to the World Ranking (which we will see later), with 50% of the players with the highest score ending up in the Bronze League, 40% in the Silver League and 10% in the Gold League.
In the main section, on the top right we find the World Ranking.
The World Ranking is the result of the points accumulated in the last 100 days in official matches and tournaments, worldwide.
